Terms of service

LAST UPDATED 6 AUGUST 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

Sagot (“Sagot”, “we”, “us”) provides an AI visibility monitoring service at sagot.io. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. What the service does

Sagot runs a set of prompts you define against large language model services and search surfaces on a recurring schedule, stores the responses, and presents deterministic measurements of whether and how your brand appears in them. Sagot measures and reports. It does not create content on your behalf, publish on your behalf, or guarantee any change in how any AI system describes you.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login and API keys secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised so we can revoke it.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Subscriptions are sold per brand on a monthly basis. Payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as merchant of record for the transaction and issues your receipt and any applicable sales tax or VAT. Prices are shown in US dollars. Your subscription renews monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Sagot to monitor prompts designed to generate unlawful content, to attempt to identify or deanonymise individuals, to resell raw provider data as though it were your own product, or in a way that breaches the terms of the underlying model providers. We may suspend an account that does so.

6. Your data

You own the brand configuration, prompt set and competitor list you enter. We store the responses returned by the model providers and the measurements derived from them, and we use them to operate your account. You can export your data at any time and can request deletion, as described in the privacy policy.

7. Availability and third parties

Sagot depends on third-party model providers and data suppliers. Their availability, pricing, models and response behaviour change outside our control, and a provider may become unavailable or change how it answers. We will tell you when a tracked engine changes materially rather than quietly substituting one.

8. No warranty on AI outputs

Model responses are probabilistic and vary between runs. Sagot reports what a provider returned at a point in time. We do not warrant that any response is accurate, complete or repeatable, and you should not treat a response as a statement of fact about any business, including yours.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice by email at least 14 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.
